Date: May 2nd 2008

Suzanne and I and the girls went to Normangee, Texas last week to visit with a few hundred others at a mutual friends ranch. Nice 185 A. with a huge lake and lots of trees. They fed us and provided entertainment till the wee hours of the morning. We on the other hand parked the van in one of the fields and were passed out by 10pm.

Woke up to the country sounds of cows and birds and took a 2 hour walk around the lake and thru' the fields. Left at 11am and stopped for lunch in Rockdale before heading home.

The market was very busy last Sat. Hopefully thats a trend that will last. We have :eggs, tomatoes, burpless cucumbers, colored sweet bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, squash, zucchini, carrots, onions, snow peas, new potatoes, fresh baked breads, pecan tarts, canned goods, pestos, dried fruit, dried tomatoes, herb plants, basil plants, eggplant, pepper, and tomato plants, and fertilizer.

Come see us. SAFM
